Hi, I’m
I’m a software developer based in Culiacán, Mexico. I work with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular to build business applications, and I develop CriteriaForge, an open-source Java library.
I follow best practices and question why they work better than the alternatives. I compare approaches and choose what fits the problem.
I run services like Navidrome and Nextcloud on a Raspberry Pi at home. A VPS handles public HTTPS with Nginx, then routes traffic through a WireGuard tunnel to my home server. I enjoy working through the networking, deployment, and maintenance behind that setup.

Internal projectAt Coppel, I designed a strategy for moving from a monolith to Spring Boot services, using gRPC internally and REST for consumers. The goal: clear responsibilities and a reusable structure for new services.
The application service coordinates workflows. Data services communicate through gRPC, and each connects to PostgreSQL for persistence and transactions.
